MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR - LAURA

“Hi I’m Laura,

I first came across Dance Like a Mother in 2020. My first Daughter was a lockdown baby and as a Zumba instructor for 12 years I was super eager to give them a go. We attended Charlie’s classes online, and I looked forward to them every week. So when I had my second Daughter in 2023 I was super excited to attend IRL! After attending Nikki’s Ramsbottom class I was hooked.

I also run Mini Me Time (Baby Massage & Yoga) and so the thought of being able to do DLAM too was too much of a good opportunity to pass up.

I love seeing how much joy and laughter the classes give the Mums and I feel I can be my true bonkers self and just have fun and connect with these awesome women. Also seeing the friendships and community that the Mums have is very special.

“What can I say…DLAM has changed my life!

I’ve attended classes since 2016 with all 3 of my girls. It’s been such a big part of my life and especially during lockdown when it was a lifeline not just for me, but for the kids as well.

There is really no other class like it. It’s hard to put into words; but there is just such a sense of joy from every class. We laugh so much (usually at each other’s dodgy dancing!) and there’s no judgment or cliques. Everyone is just so welcoming. Emma is a fantastic instructor and one of the kindest people you will meet.

As a teacher I get to come along to classes in the holidays and bring all 3 girls (plus the hubby to when he’s free!), I don’t know what I’d do without it. Nikki and the team have become great friends of mine (Mine & Nikk’s daughters love dancing together whenever they can).

Just book on, you won’t regret it!”
