“Hi I’m Charlie! I attended Dance Like a Mother classes with my older Daughter Bea. Being a prem baby, I was naturally nervous and still quite new to babywearing. But as a professional Dancer and trained Ballerina I loved the experience of holding Bea close and dancing together…and I was hooked!

I absolutely love being a DLAM instructor and enjoy meting new Mums & Dads and supporting them in their parenting journey. I love the community and friendships that happen in class and then continue after mat leave. I’ve made lifelong friends myself and love how non-judgmental and welcoming everyone is.

I’m super excited to be bringing the classes to Wigan!

“I’ve been to a few Dance Like a Mother classes with my wife Rebecca and our daughter Evelyn. Becs loves going to the group and it’s easy to see why. Everyone was so welcoming and even for someone with no rhythm like me, the group was really non-judgmental!

The social aspect of DLAM is really important too and it’s great for parents to be able to meet up once a week and also socialize outside the group. I really enjoy it and would definitely recommend it to other dads 😃👍🏼”
